The above sites are all functional by the fact they are simple, nothings there that doesnt need to be. All important links are put together, whether across the top of the page, or aligned to the left or right which makes it easy to navigate. The sites are to the point, very quickly the viewer knows what the website is about and any information they require is easy to get to. With these facts in mind i want my blog to be based on the same elements.

It's that time of the year, PPD presentations!! Right think its best to bullet point what i'd like to cover in my presentation, it seems best to do this chronologically through my year and show my thought process....
-Entering the year with a problem..Me as a Designer, Me as a Teacher.
-Throughout the year I've seen different School projects and I've used these as starting briefs for my own design work (show examples)
-Placement, St.Bedes and Prince Henrys, pros and cons. What i've learnt from the placements, lesson structure etc.
-Interview process, first, second interview. What was needed for them (stimulating start t lesson)? What was asked in interviews?
-Requirements now i have a place, CRB, Medical, Degree.
-Structure of next year.
-How i would like to apply myself to teaching as a designer? Projects?

Designing a logo to represent myself and these are the current outcomes. The two directly above are based on the type which im using for the front, slick looking and geometric. However the two at the top i think are more interesting as these directly look at geometric shapes which a lot of the typefaces ive created this year do. It also has a interesting contrast with the type as they oppose each other in weight.
