So placements and such...

Been in touch with St.Josephs in bradford, waiting to hear back from them, which is scary. Waiting for a phone call from the head of technology as to whether i'll be able to do placement with them.

After sending a letter to Guisley School im still waiting to hear back, its been a week now so im feeling quite disappointed by it however i havent lost anything.

Think i may try getting in touch with another school that is local to me.

Above shows Leeds trinitys home page which is advertising their open days on 2nd of Oct and 23rd! Something i really want to go to and i think is important that i do go to clarify its the right choice for me to apply to.

From our 10 briefs we have to narrow them down to a minimal of 4.

So far i have three in mind...

A typeface built on materials used in technology classes.

A publication explaining materials different properties.

A set of 'how to...'. Set on explaining different techniques in joining and connecting materials.

I've begun idea building and researching which can be seen on my other blogs.

In a workshop we had to sum up who we are with one sentence. I found this very useful in focussing myself as to what i want to do and become.

Research driven publications focusing on typography and layout and their relationship with photography!

This year im wanting to concentrate on layout and typography, addressing issues of readability, legibility to communicate message. I want to push how readable design can be with an aesthetically pleasing element to it.
