I've been looking at local agencies and what they do as part of my enterprise studies but also to see the local competition.
As a designer i want to look more into promotional work for companies and identity, so logo design etc. So i've also started looking at design agencies which specialise in this area so i can see the standard of the competition but also reference from them.
I've come to like this work since completing the Typography module in which we did a lot of identity work. Although most of my work till now is photo based i'd like to combine the two to produce work which promotes existing businesses through type based and photo based work.

Heres latest work which i would like to include in my portfolio. Showing that i have done work for a different kind of distribution, as magazine ads. Photo based as a lot of my work is but i do like these. I think they work well.
Below is my online portfolio, rather plain at the moment, id like it to show more of a range of my skills and probably demonstrate them better. Definetely needs working on.

I want my web presence to be clear and simple. Identifying my work, how to contact me and direction to my blog.

Above shows my letterhead and compliment slip, following the same slick design and typeface as my business cards.
So heres my business card as it stands. As always i like simplicity. Simple logo, smooth slick typeface (century gothic). I've highlighted my name and telephone number so the key information is right there. I will try printing my business cards onto different stocks and print it using foiling and other methods to see what looks most engaging.

My first logo wasnt clearly representing c f. So i slightly changed the f so it didnt look like a p anymore.
As a designer i want to simply represent and be called myself. So my logo is based on my initials. I want the logo to look slick, have an organic look, and a simple look like my designs.
